My stay with you was very enjoyable. This was my third time back to Banana Beach and Christina Cooks trips. I love Belize and your staff is exceptional. Carlos was particularly helpful when I needed some forgetten blood pressure medication, the Monkey Busineess gals set us up on a great tour to the Zoo and the Cave tubing. I hope to be back next year.

She is a very hard worker and her aim is to please. She was even able to get a woman to come into the hotel and braid our hair on sunday ! All the women working there were great, but Sandra really stood out above the rest.... she's a definite keeper !

Hello from Minnesota Banana Beach Bunch!
Wendy and I were very pleased with our vacation to Belize and picking Banana Beach on Ambergris Caye as the resort of choice. Sandra in Your Monkey Business Travel Shoppe was very helpful in setting up Scuba Diving and a Lamanai tour before we arrived. A special thanks to her for all her emails answering my many questions. Beach towel service was a nice touch along with other supplies and beverages.

The rest of the staff was outstanding as well making sure our stay was enjoyable. From the time we arrived and until the time we departed your staff was pleasant and courteous making sure any of our needs or requests were taking care of. Very few places that we have traveled had such great service in all areas. The room was excellent and kept clean throughout the stay. The table and chairs outside the room with the lovely foliage and view of the ocean made sitting outdoors very enjoyable when we were not at one of the pools or on the beach.

The beach and pool areas were well maintained with plenty of areas to either enjoy the views in the shade or soaking up some sun. There were many fine choices on the regular Breakfast menu and the coupon for Breakfast could be used for a nice cool Rum drink anytime if we decided to make those choices. We tried your evening BBQ and it was excellent. It was just to large a portion for us. It would have been best if we had shared.

Our stay was feb. 17th through feb.24th A104 was our room number and a delightful place !. We loved your food and eat at your restaurant several times during our stay. We bought Belize Arabica coffee that was out of this world. It said it was from Gallon Jug Farms do you know where we can purchase any or even a web site where we can order? It would be great to hear from you and thanks again for your GREAT Hospitailty.

I returned to northern California a little over a week ago following my trip to Belize with my girlfriends Linda and Lisa. I travel often and don't typically have a desire to repeat destinations. Belize and Banana Beach made me feel differently about that. I'm ready to go again next week, but I guess I'll have to wait until next year! Your staff treated us like family and showed us a great time - (I remember most of it). My personal favorites were Horace, Enrique, Sylvia, and Wilmer. They were sweet, fun, and I will not soon forget them.

Monkey Business was convenient and helpful, and we really enjoyed our excursions/guides: (snorkeling with Mario, Lamanai with SEAduced, and the zoo & cave tubing with Ernesto). El Divino's breakfast hours through 11AM allowed us to sleep late and still grab a bite to eat before enjoying the beautiful weather and first rate hospitality at your resort. We appreciated your clean and spacious rooms, and the balcony was worth the extra money. See you again soon when I'm ready to escape corporate America!

The food, as always, was delicious and prepared with care. Banana Beach Bunch
Our stay at Banana Beach was wonderful, again. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Some of the staff even remembered us from being there 3 years ago. El Divino's food is good (especially the week-end cook out), and the servers are a joy (they make your day)!! Keep up the warm and friendly atmosphere!! We would love to come back soon, but with Heather off to collage in a year, it could be a few years again before we are able to return.

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks very much for all you did. Everyone was so impressed with Banana Beach. The rooms were great and Monkey Business was very helpful. I can’t praise your staff enough; they were so nice to everyone. The guys at breakfast were so friendly & funny. Enrique at the bar became everyone s best friend!

So many people praised El Divino, the food was great. One evening they cooked us fish we had just caught & did a fantastic job catering for a group of 20. The hotel worked out perfect for everyone, in fact one couple ended up staying an extra week!

I loved everything about Banana Beach, but what stood out the most to all of us was your personalities and how you guys all bust your ass and work so hard, never showing how tired and annoyed you all probably get at times. I met many of the El Divino staff when we visited, and I wish I knew more people like you. I can't tell you how much fun I had down there, and hanging out at the bar and restaurant at talking with the all of you was actually one of my favourite aspects of the vacation, as it was for everyone else. The one thing all of us agreed on, aside from the sheer beauty and the paradise that Belize is, was that the people there were like none that we've ever met.

Obviously you all have your busy lives and jobs to attend to, but I miss being down there and appreciate all the hard work you put in every day. Don't ever change! I hope I will see all of you again soon.

Hi Everyone.

Well we want to thank you for the most wonderful reception and time at your fine resort. We could not have been happier. Special thanks to the two women at the Reception Desk, and the special man in the office there who extended us every courtesy. Also we can’t forget the person who took care of us and our room, Elena. She is just so kind and a gentle woman. We also want to thank the wait staff in El Divino – Romeo, who told us how to catch fish the Belizian way, and others who waited on us for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner; and Roxy the best and friendliest martini maker in all of San Pedro. And of course the chefs who prepared our fresh caught fish.

We were so happy there – we would recommend it to everyone. It’s a beautiful and immaculately kept resort with the finest staff – unlike any we’ve ever encountered. And last, but not least – Gene Lopez – his smile just says it all. Our vacation took on special meaning because of him. What a fine man with a personality and smile to light up any room. You are lucky to have him and we were lucky our paths crossed. We were sad to leave him and wished we could have spent more time with him. We hope to visit with all of you again soon. We will never forget the time spent with each and every one of you.

I just had to write you back again – forgot to tell you how much we loved the Conch Salad. We are now suffering from Conch Salad withdrawal. Hats off to the person who that for us. We can get it here but will try to recreate it – but I know it won’t ever be as good as the one your serve in El Divino. Also, my husband loved the beds there – so nice and soft. He hated to leave! Again, thanks to all.

Your staff are superb and professional. Your accommodations are top-notch. The food and service in El Divino is marvellous. We were disappointed with NOTHING!!! We commend our room attendant Ema Castaneda, the staff at the Gift Shop, Roxy in the Bar, Marcela and all the folks at Breakfast at El Divino.

We are finally getting settled in after our visit to Belize.

Concerning your email, we have the following comments about our visit: Greeting/Reception - This couldn't have been better. We were greeted very warmly and everyone was friendly and helpful. Room - Our room was very nice. The climate control was good (except for the day the electricity went out) and the maid did a wonderful job of making the room fresh everyday. (Management note: Backup Generator has since been installed). El Divino Restaurant - We only ate three of our breakfasts and two dinners at the restaurant, but all of the meals were very good. Our son especially liked the cinnamon toast at breakfast. Again, service was wonderful! El Divino Bar - Roxy is a great bartender! She was very friendly and made great suggestions on what to drink after a long day of touring. Monkey Business Travel Shoppe - Claudia took care of most of our travel needs. She, again, was extremely friendly. I'm sure I drove her crazy with questions about the different tours, but she always answered with a smile.

We took two day-trips, one to Lamanai and the other to the Aerial Trek and Cave Tubing. Both trips were very good and the tour guides were extremely informative. The trips though are listed as having water, soda, beer, rum punch and snacks for the return. There was no rum punch or snacks on either of the trips. After a long day, a snack would have been good to take care of the munchies. My husband and son did some diving that was set up through Monkey Business. The dives themselves were good, but they were booked with Ambergris Divers and both my husband and my son felt that the dive masters didn't really want to be out on dives. Their attitude kind of put a damper on the day. Next time they would like to be with another dive business. Other than the few items listed above, we had a very nice visit to your country.

We had a grand time at your wonderful resort! We miss you guys and your beautiful island. The reception staff was great. Sandra @ Monkey Shoppe was so great, helpful and friendly. Frank, Sergio and Elroy (the gentleman with the dreads) were all so hospitable, made us feel right at home. Our tour operators were fantastic; Alfonse with Shark Ray Alley, and Eric and Robin and their boat Uprising had a lovely time with them all.

We had an awesome holiday and look forward to coming back to Belize, but for a longer time next time. I have to say, we felt that everything at the Banana Beach was awesome. Room was perfect; food was great and all the staff very helpful. Now I know why my clients have liked it there so much.

I never once felt concerned that we would not be taken care and all the arrangements made for us by Monkey Business worked like clockwork. I have to say, the only downfall of the whole time, was the amount of time we had on Ambergris Caye. I will definitely be recommending your hotel to everyone interested in the area. Again, thank you so much for making our holiday a memorable one.

Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation! The resort staff was always very helpful, professional, friendly and courteous. It couldn't have been a better stay, unless, of course, we had had more time!

I also want to take this opportunity to thank the Monkey Business staff that helped us schedule three days of activities. Again, they were very professional and more than willing to go the extra mile. Scheduling for the seven of us went off without any hitches, thanks solely to the staff.

During our stay, we had two tourist operators. Adventures Belize stood out and after the first day with them, we were delighted to learn they would be with us again. Enough good statements cannot be made about Nano, Willie and Nano's brother. They were extremely professional, provided great service and information and answered all of our questions. And, Willie's cooking was fantastic!

The overall services were so terrific. I have friends who contacted me this week about their upcoming honeymoon trip and I recommended your resort and staff.

Finally, I would be remiss if I didn't so thank you in three-fold to one of the owners who helped with lost luggage for six of the seven of us. Bravo to you for such great service. And, thanks again for making our vacation so wonderful.
